WOWWW!!! This place is as good as everyone says. I got the 3 protein combo which comes with Al pastor, chicharron and beef. I didn't care for the beef much but the Al pastor and chicharron were standouts!!! They come with an assortment of salsas and they were all amazing. Chicharron and Al pastor were 5/5 Res taco was 3/5 Jamaica was 5/5 - they give you 1liter and it's mixed with guava which was a nice touch We arrived around 730pm on a Tuesday and there was a decent sized line that moved quickly. I'd say we waited about 20 min. They are very organized and the menu is pretty easy to navigate. There is a lot of seating at this location (two floors) and outside seating as well. I would give the location extra stars for cleanliness. I like that they keep their salsas refrigerated and clean the spoons after each use by different customers. This is a must stop for CDMX

Delicious tacos, relatively long service since there are many people drawn to this location. People are nice and have a solid system. Every taco was delicious though some of the meats (like the chicharrón) is very dry. The great sauces will help cover that up. Not quite worth getting the special versions since the potatoes aren't worth it and the extra meat can be used for dessert. Buñuelos are great little treats.

This is a staple in monterrey. Every time i come home to visit i have to come here. They have been around for god knows how long now. Theres nothing you can order here that will not be good. Now they offer the tacos with a costra which is a cheese tortilla instead of an actual tortilla which is delicious and a great low carb option. The people there are so nice and greeting. The place is small and can get busy especially at night, but its just a small hole in the wall joint.

The absolute BEST place to eat in CDMX hands down! The first night of our 4 day trip we witnessed a line wrapping around the corner of the establishment. Naturally, the next day, we had to see what the hype was all about. Let me tell you, we were NOT disappointed. From the insanely fast service, the amount of options on the menu, & lively atmosphere - we were blown away. The food was delicious and flavorful. The tacos were amazing but the real show stopper was the Campechana big taco that came with grilled pineapple, potatoes and a massively stuffed taco!! If you're in CDMX, I highly recommend finding one of these taqueria's and allowing your tastebuds an experience of a lifetime

Ordered: Taco Res - Maiz, Harina, & Tostada (MX $55 each) Quesadilla Maiz (MX $29) Pirata Especial (MX $139): big taco with asadero cheese, crunchy corn chips, onion, cilantro, and avocado 10pc Papas Aplastadas (MX $49): "Galeana" potatoes smashed and fried Coca Cola (MX $39) Aya's take: First stop in Mexico City and it was the highly recommended Taqueria Orinoco. The line wasn't that long and moved quick, we asked for an English menu, and began to order. The menu is pretty simple with their 3 protein options (2 pork, 1 beef). Since I don't eat pork, we got everything with res aka beef. They also have 3 different taco "types", maiz (corn), harina (flour), and tostada (crispy tortilla) with all the same toppings of asadero cheese, onion, cilantro, and avocado. The beef was super delicious and flavorful. Each order came with a few of their Papas Aplastadas too. Had we known that, we wouldn't have gotten a separate order of it. They lacked flavor and I wish they were crispier on the outside. My absolutely favorite item here is the Pirata Especial! This was absolutely perfect. It was loaded with beef, the tortilla was fresh and soft, and the melted cheese blended so well with the freshness of the avocado, onion, and cilantro. The tableside salsas and limes were all pretty good and enhanced the flavors of each bite. All in all, great start to our trip to CDMX!

These tacos came highly recommended to me via Tiktok and people who have travelled to CDMX before - what a great recommendation! Chicharron were my absolute favorite, so fatty, crispy, and flavorful. Beef taco was a close second. Not the best Al Pastor taco I've ever had but worth a try. It was a little dry and definitely not as flavorful as the chicharron. Every single salsa that came on the side was great as well, perfect to go with both the tacos and the potatoes. BTW each plate does come with a few potatoes so there's not really a need to order an additional side of potatoes!

The first stop on our trip in Mexico City. It was a fantastic beginning to a journey of tacos. I got the 3 protein tacos - al pastor, beef and chicharron which came with potatoes, pineapple and onions. The server dropped off a number of sauces with a range of spiciness. The al pastor was my favorite. It was juicy and sweet. The potatoes dipped in the various sauces were a great balance as well. We came at 4pm on a Monday so there was no line and plenty of tables available. We walked by at night and the lines were long. I would say this is definitely worth the wait.

These were the best al pastor (trombo) tacos I had while visiting CDMX. I eat a lot of tacos living in Los Angeles and these surpassed my expectations. It's definitely a hyped up place on social media right now, but it's really no frills. Nice location but simple place with good simple food. We had other tacos and the potatoes as well, but the trombo were the best, at just $29mxn. Try all the salsas and order the jamaica/guyaba drink.

I love this place so much. Sometimes can be a little bit of a wait but if you come at an off time usually you can be seated immediately. You order at the register, sit down with a number, and your food will come out quickly. I like all of their salsas, but the orange one is to DIE for. It has a very minor amount of heat but is more acidic and does a great job of balancing out the richness of the tacos. They serve the tacos with a small portion of cebollas and three papas. Tacos de trompo are $29 which is a steal for how big they are. 3 is a very filling meal. You can get either maíz or harina for your tortilla which I appreciate. It's a simple, streamlined menu but absolutely worth a stop when in Mexico City. Will return!
